October Favourites and November Goals

I know I say it every month but October has absolutely flown by and I cannot believe we are now approaching Christmas time. I always feel that winter starts to settle in November although I do love Bonfire Night. 

As you may have noticed I have been MIA for most of October. This last month has seen me feeling very tired and run down so I have had to take a step back from everything to get plenty of rest and down time. I was quite disappointed by this especially as I was so looking forward to blogtober and had a cracking first week. As I always like to find a positive in everything here is what went well in October:

I have spent time with my lovely friends. I really do think that some quality time with your close friends always gives me a positive boost.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first week of blogtober and thinking of quality posts. Whilst it was only a week I realised how much I love it.

Whilst I have had my hiatus I have had time to think about what I want my blog to be like and the type of posts I want to write.

My well-being took quite a hit over the last few weeks so it has really forced me to slow down and put time and thought in to rest and listening to my body. I feel much more in tune with what I need.

I booked a city break to Rome for November. I am so excited about going and seeing the culture and eating all the lovely food.

I have finally uncluttered my wardrobe and started to update my look. It feels like such a weight off my shoulders and I finally like choosing what I’m going to wear instead of feeling uninspired. It makes such a difference opening your wardrobe every day and looking at beautiful clothes that express me.

November’s goal:

To have an established exercise routine by the end of the month. This is something I have struggled with for most of the year but I am determined to crack this. I have decided to change my mindset around this instead of telling myself I don’t have time I now ask myself if this is a priority for me right now. I want to go twice a week every week, right now its more important for me to go consistently instead of how many times I go.

To start my Christmas shopping, card writing and getting prepared for Christmas. I love Christmas and love buying people presents but I do find it a busy time of year as well. Its time to get our Christmas on!
