I don’t always set myself goals each month however because I love September I wanted to get the most from the month. September is looking like a busy month already and I want to keep on track and hold myself accountable. So, in attempt to keep myself focused I decided to set myself a few goals….
Prioritising Self Care
When I am at my busiest I need self care more than ever however I know it is something which drops to the bottom my of priorities. I have a very busy few weeks at work, a birthday and a holiday all to organise in 3 weeks. Without self care I struggle to sleep, make healthy food choices and generally feel constantly tired. So I have set myself a challenge this month to prioritise self care. Every day I will do an act of self care, no matter how big or small. I will be documenting it over on my Instagram using #septselfcare if you to join in or follow along.
Focus on my blog
I have been brainstorming content ideas for the next few months. I want to make sure I prioritise my time so that I can take photos and create interesting and inspiring content. I will be participating in blogtober as well as another challenge and will need to spend some time preparing and planning.
Eating well and healthily
Over this summer I have been eating healthy and nutritious meals. I have felt much better in myself and even dropped a few pounds. When I am busy I tend to eat on the go more and not keep track of snacks and meals. Each week i take some time to plan meals for the next week and compose a shopping list from this. I also try and do some batch cooking. All of these things keep me in the best mindset to make tasty and good choices.
