Weekly Round Up #1

Last week was back to work after a glorious 10 days holiday. It was my first break since the Christmas holidays so I really felt ready to have some time off. I also went back to the gym and as I am typing this my body is feeling achy, tired and awesome. 

Last week I went swimming for 30 minutes, aqua zumba which was so much fun.  Then finished the week off with my first Pilates class. Wow, Pilates is hard work! I felt good afterwards but boy did I have to focus. Plus I managed to fit in a few cheeky lunchtime walks round the city to try to get some fresh air and daylight. I then had a few days of rest to give myself a break.

I did not really pay much attention to what I ate the last week. I wanted to get back in to a work routine and exercising again. Since trying to stop the diet mentality I am eating food I haven’t for ages, like crisps. Its fun being able to eat different foods. I still have some work to do on achieving a better balance on food choices however I do not feel like shit about myself or obsess over food anymore.

I also got a few posts out on here which I bloody loved doing. I still have loads to learn when it comes to writing and blogging however I get a real joy from being active with it. 

Finally I had a great evening out round Leeds with my best friend Sarah, we had a fabulous time, chatted for hours and had cocktails, prosecco and then pints of beer. Cocktails and girl time always makes me feel good.
